Before computerized electrodermal screening (EDS) was developed, allergies were limited to food and environmental sensitivities. Since the sophisticated EDS information technology appeared, people have started to realize that there are hardly any human diseases in which allergic factors are not involved directly or indirectly. Any substance under the sun, including sunlight itself, can cause an allergic reaction in any individual. Allergy can be redefined as abnormal immune response to any substances and factors, including our own body. Because of the man-made pollution and chemicals around us, our immune system is often confused. More allergies, autoimmune disorders and immune deficiencies have been documented in recent years than from any other time in human history.
