About Dr. Harry Hong

Dr. Harry Hong received his medical training from Beijing University of Chinese Medicine and Pharmacology in China. Till this day, this school remains to be the most prestigious medical school for Chinese medicine. He also holds an Master's degree in molecular biology from the University of Idaho and a Ph.D in medical science from Medical College of Ohio. He received training on osteoarthritis from National Institute of Health and conducted medical research on asthma at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Dr. Hong has been practicing holistic medicine for over 15 years. He is certified by National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) for both acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine. From tghe year of 2013, Dr. Hong joined the Atlantic Institute of Oriental Medicine for the program of Doctor of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (DAOM). He also sees patients in both of his offices in northwest of Chicago and Ft. Lauderdale of Florida.

During the years of holistic medical practice, Dr. Hong developed a unique program, the Individualized Body-Mind Therapy (IBMT), to address the root issues of chronic inflammatory diseases. Combining traditional Chinese medicine, homeopathy, energy testing, nutritional supplementation and Western medical science, his integrative approach to inflammatary and degenerative processes of the body has helped many patients with chronic pain, fatigue, allergy and sensitivities, autoimmune diseases and chronic infections.
